Non-Fiction Book Reviewer (Experienced, Remote)

About the role: As a non-fiction reviewer for the Reader Views Literary Awards, you will choose titles that genuinely interest you (memoir, self-help, business, history, and more) from a regularly updated list, then read and review each one at your own pace. Each review includes your written feedback along with a short scoresheet. You will receive a stipend for every review you complete, and your work directly helps independent authors grow while supporting a respected awards program. Non-fiction is where we need you right now. If you also read fiction, that is a bonus and fiction titles do come up, but non-fiction is the priority.

What we are looking for: This role is for experienced reviewers, not first-timers. We are looking for voracious non-fiction readers who have reviewed before, whether for a publication, a blog, a library, or another awards program, and who can evaluate a book on its substance: the argument, the evidence, how well it is built. What matters most is the quality of the writing: polished, publication-quality reviews, the kind of thoughtful, well-structured work that goes beyond a casual blog post, delivered reliably within the agreed turnaround. Casual hobbyists will not be a fit.
