Position Overview: We are seeking a board-certified General Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment supporting outpatient cardiology services and stress testing in northern New York. The physician will primarily provide outpatient clinic coverage and supervise stress tests, with additional hospital responsibilities as needed. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule and a 6 9 month assignment, with coverage expected 2 3 weeks per month.

Primary Responsibilities: Provide outpatient cardiology clinic coverage approximately three days per week. Supervise stress testing approximately one day per week. Additional responsibilities may include inpatient cardiology consultations, stress lab coverage, and occasional on-call coverage to support staffing needs. The ability to interpret the nuclear portion of stress tests is preferred but not required.

Qualifications: Board-certified in Cardiology. Active New York medical license in hand. Recent Epic experience required. No prior malpractice claims. More than five years of experience preferred. Board certification or appropriate qualifications to interpret cardiac imaging studies preferred, including nuclear stress tests.

Additional Information: Coverage is anticipated to begin as soon as credentialing and privileging permit. Estimated assignment duration is 6 9 months.
