About the Opportunity:
A highly respected boutique plaintiff-side litigation firm in Seattle is seeking an ambitious Associate Attorney to join its growing catastrophic injury practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a litigation attorney who wants to work on high-value, life-changing cases while building a long-term career with a firm that offers a clear and accelerated pathway to partnership. The firm represents individuals and families in complex personal injury matters involving catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, wrongful death, and other significant negligence claims. Associates are given meaningful responsibility, direct client contact, and substantial courtroom exposure from day one.
What You'll Do:
- Manage a sophisticated caseload of catastrophic injury and complex plaintiff litigation matters
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and mediation briefs
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy
- Work directly with clients, expert witnesses, and medical professionals
- Participate in settlement negotiations and case evaluations
- Collaborate closely with firm leadership on high-exposure litigation matters
- Assist with trial preparation and courtroom advocacy
