Veyo is seeking Part-Time Drivers to provide safe, reliable non-emergency medical transportation for Medicaid and Medicare members. You’ll use Veyo’s mobile app to accept trips, navigate to pick-up and drop-off locations, and ensure riders arrive on time and safely for medical appointments. Responsibilities include completing vehicle safety checks, following health and safety protocols, maintaining accurate trip records, and delivering professional, compassionate service to vulnerable populations. Ideal candidates are dependable, punctual, comfortable with technology, and committed to Veyo’s mission of improving access to care. Provide safe, reliable transportation to and from medical appointments for Medicaid and Medicare members Use Veyo’s mobile app to accept and manage trip assignments Navigate efficiently using GPS while following traffic laws and safety regulations Perform basic pre-trip vehicle safety checks and report issues promptly Assist riders as needed, including those with mobility challenges Maintain accurate records of trips, timings, and rider interactions Follow all health, safety, and privacy protocols, including HIPAA-related guidance Communicate professionally with dispatch, riders, and healthcare partners Manage time effectively to ensure on-time pick-ups and drop-offs Represent Veyo’s mission and values with courteous, patient-focused service Safe driving Route navigation/GPS use Time management Customer service Vehicle safety inspection Basic smartphone/app usage Recordkeeping and trip logging Knowledge of local roads Defensive driving techniques Handling passengers with mobility needs Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid state driver’s license Clean driving record Auto insurance meeting state minimums Defensive driving or passenger assistance training a plus Familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy a plus CPR/First Aid certification a plus
