Brake Press/Punch Press Operator

Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate press brake/punch press machines to bend and form metal parts Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required 1-3+ years of experience operating press brake/punch press machines (or similar equipment) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Basic math and problem-solving skills Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
