You will work Monday through Friday, enjoying a balanced 40-hour workweek that promotes both your professional and personal life.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians, utilizing your specialized knowledge to develop effective treatment plans.Implement individualized therapy programs that encompass a variety of techniques and therapeutic procedures aimed at improving patient function and quality of life.Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes by incorporating evidence-based practices into our treatment protocols.Deliver compassionate and skillful therapeutic care directly in the home, ensuring adherence to the physician's plans and adjusting based on the patient's progress.Educate patients and their caregivers on care techniques, therapies, and exercises to encourage active participation in their recovery journey.Maintain exemplary communication with colleagues and patients to ensure the continuity of care and adherence to performance metrics.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will have the opportunity to treat a diverse range of patients, including individuals with orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports-related conditions. Your role will engagement patients in their recovery processes while addressing their unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. By nurturing strong relationships, you will play a key role in empowering patients to exceed their functional goals.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.A current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in word processing and computer applications.A passion for building relationships with patients and a commitment to improving community health.Preferred ExperienceWhile all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, experience in home care settings or specialized rehabilitation areas (orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, or sports medicine) is highly valued.
