Summary:
We are seeking a full-time board-certified Interventional Radiologistto join our team at Hemet Global Medical Center. The medical center is located in the city of Hemet surrounded by the San Jacinto mountains in Southern California. The position offers an excellent work-life balance with Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM coverage, andno evening or weekend callresponsibilities. Interested IR applicants would be working with a highly experienced IR staff, have radiology residents to help, as well as available backup by senior IR faculty. The site qualifies for J1 waiver/visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive interventional radiology coverage and perform a wide range of image-guided procedures Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of highly experienced IR techs, RNs, and administrative staff Share Cath lab access with vascular surgery (equipped with aToshiba Infinity Unit )Utilize Fuji Synapse PACSand Nuance Power Scribefor imaging and dictation Participate in clinical teaching opportunities for radiology residents and medical students from affiliated residency programs Coordinate with practice administrator for vacation and backup coverage Common Procedures Performed Bone marrow aspirationsPVD proceduresIVC filter placement Image-guided biopsies (renal, liver)Nephrostomy tube placements
Qualifications:
