Associate Attorney Employment Litigation

Responsibilities: Defend employers in discrimination, retaliation, leave, and accommodation matters under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, IHRA, IWA, and related laws Handle wage-and-hour, class, and collective actions involving the FLSA, IMWL, IWPCA, BIPA, and similar statutes Litigate trade secret, confidentiality, non-compete, and non-solicitation disputes Manage motion practice, written discovery, depositions, and summary judgment Take increasing ownership of matters in Illinois state and federal court

Requirements: 3+ years of employment litigation experience Illinois Bar admission Admission to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Strong experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and summary judgment Desire to manage matters independently while working collaboratively with other attorneys Preferred Northern District of Illinois Trial Bar admission First- or second-chair trial experience Experience presenting witnesses at hearings, trials, or arbitrations Employment appellate experience Spanish fluency Portable business or business-development experience
