Job Description: The ICU Registered Nurse provides high-acuity nursing care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in a General Intensive Care Unit. This role involves advanced assessment skills, managing complex medical and surgical conditions, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of critically ill patients. Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP, and tracheostomy care. Administer and titrate vasoactive and critical care medications per protocol. Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and 12-lead ECGs. Care for patients with central venous access devices and advanced medical equipment. Assist with emergency procedures, cardioversions, and critical interventions. Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans with healthcare professionals. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic.

Required Experience: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. BLS and ACLS certification required. Recent ICU experience and proficiency with ventilators, telemetry monitoring, and vasoactive drips preferred.

Certifications/Licensure: Current RN license. BLS certification. ACLS certification.
