Position Summary:
We are seeking a Demand Planner to take ownership of demand planning and forecasting across a growing U.S. business. This is a highly visible, strategic role that will work closely with major accounts. The Demand Planner will analyze historical point-of-sale trends, inventory levels, customer plans, and manufacturing lead times to develop accurate forecasts and determine what needs to be produced and shipped. This is an opportunity for a self-motivated professional who wants to do more than maintain a forecast. The ideal candidate will challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, drive change, eliminate waste, and make data-driven recommendations that directly impact inventory and business performance.
What’s in it for you?
Strategic Impact: Own demand planning and forecasting across a significant portion of the U.S. business and directly influence inventory, production, and customer strategy. Major Exposure: Work with some of the company’s largest accounts. Drive Change: Join an organization where ideas can move quickly and layers of bureaucracy are minimized. Automation Opportunity: Help transform a largely manual forecasting process by identifying opportunities to leverage technology and automation. What will your day look like? Own demand planning and forecasting for several hundred SKUs across the U.S. business. Analyze historical POS sales and trends to identify demand patterns. Review current U.S. inventory and determine future production requirements based on customer demand. Work closely with Account Managers to understand customer strategies, growth expectations, and changing demand. Determine how customers can achieve growth objectives without creating excess inventory. Make monthly forecast adjustments in coordination with Account Managers. Identify opportunities to automate and improve currently manual forecasting processes. Continuously look for ways to eliminate waste, improve processes, and make demand planning more scalable. Who are you? Experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or a related function. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Advanced Excel skills. Comfortable working with large amounts of SKU-level and customer-level data. Able to analyze historical trends and translate data into actionable recommendations. Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and ownership. Comfortable working independently while remaining highly collaborative. Process-oriented with an interest in automation and continuous improvement. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where decisions and changes can happen quickly. Manufacturing and/or retail experience is preferred, but industry background is open. Application & Contact Information If this role isn't a perfect match for you, that's okay!
