RN - PICU

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to infants, children, and adolescents in the PICU.Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge processes. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in a PICU setting. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications as required by the role, including 'Handle with Care' for all acute RNs.

Orientation: Orientation is held biweekly on Mondays. Candidates must attend an orientation session prior to beginning their assignment.
