Job Description
About Winholt Equipment: For more than 80 years, Winholt Equipment has been a leader in the custom manufacturing of food handling and preparation equipment. Our success comes from skilled craftsmanship, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Materials Handler to work in fast-paced distribution and manufacturing facility. Responsible for accurately picking customer orders and adhering to Winholt quality standards.
Responsibilities: Pick customer order items and palletize them for same day shipping. Use handheld EKW device to accurately scan products to track pick movements. Utilize dimensioner to scan & weigh all outbound pallets. Load outbound trailers with Winholt product for our customers. Assist with unloading, inventory counts, and other areas of need when directed. Ability to work daily overtime including Saturdays, as needed.
Skills:
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
  • Able to climb, sit, stand and walk and to lift up to 60 lbs. independently
  • Able to communicate clearly and understand both written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly.
  • Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit; communicate in person and by phone
  • Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a non‐temperature‐controlled manufacturing environment
  • Ability to wear required PPE such as eye protection and protective clothing
