We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 120-day assignment in Vermont, commencing Oct 5, 2026. This role involves 12-hour shifts with a TBD call component. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general adult anesthesiology care within an academic trauma center, managing a broad case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, GI/endoscopy, GYN, vascular, trauma, regional, general, MAC/sedation, and neuraxial anesthesia. Duties span pre-op assessment through anesthesia management, emergence, and PACU handoff.
Responsibilities and Duties: Provide general adult anesthesiology at an academic trauma center Work within a care team model Manage a broad adult anesthesia case mix at an academic tertiary-care hospital Perform general surgery anesthesia Handle orthopedics / complex ortho cases Manage ENT cases Provide urology anesthesia Oversee GI/endoscopy procedures Administer GYN anesthesia Perform vascular anesthesia Manage trauma/emergency cases Perform regional anesthesia / blocks Administer general anesthesia, MAC/sedation, and neuraxial anesthesia Conduct pre-operative assessments Manage anesthesia during procedures Execute emergence/PACU handoff Additional Information Required Board Certification: National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
