Market Sales Manager – Wine & Spirits
Location: Orange County, CA – field-based
Salary: $75-90K + 25% bonus + car allowance plus excellent benefits package
About the Opportunity: Join a successful global wine and spirits business with a growing portfolio of premium brands. This is a highly field-focused market development role, working across Orange County to build distribution, develop distributor relationships, activate key accounts and increase brand visibility across on-premise and off-premise channels.
Key Requirements:
  • 1-2+ years' wine and spirits industry experience
  • On-premise and off-premise market experience
  • Experience working with distributor sales teams
  • Understanding of distribution, merchandising and brand activation
  • Experience with menu placements, POS, displays and promotions
  • Strong account and relationship-building skills
  • Confident presenting and conducting tastings or product activations
  • Proactive and comfortable working independently in the field
  • Valid driving licence and reliable transportation
  • Able to travel throughout the territory 4.5-5 days per week
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Develop the brand portfolio throughout Orange CountyManage relationships with distributor DMs, AMs and KAMsDrive distribution, visibility and account activation
  • Develop on-premise and off-premise account relationships
  • Secure menu placements, displays and promotional activity
  • Deliver sampling, demonstrations and consumer activations
  • Merchandise accounts and build displays
  • Ensure in-market execution meets company and brand standards
