Ticketing Manager Indiana University Indianapolis (IU Indianapolis) invites applications for the position of Ticketing Manager for IU Indianapolis. The Ticketing Manager will play a key role in ticketing operations for multiple venues across the IU Indianapolis Campus, including James T. Morris Arena, Madam Walker Legacy Center, IU Natatorium, and Carroll Stadium. Success in this role requires a strong spirit of collaboration, partnering effectively with campus leaders, IU Indianapolis Athletics, event promoters and organizers, and campus, student, and community organizations. Specific Responsibilities: The Ticketing Manager will direct and oversee ticket sales and operations for events on the IU Indianapolis Campus. This position is responsible for developing and implementing ticketing service strategies that maximize sales and customer satisfaction for ticketed events.
Primary responsibilities include: Ticketing Management Establishing short and long-range strategies and goals for single ticket sale campaigns; building and maintaining events in the ticketing system for Morris Arena, Madam Walker Legacy Center, IU Natatorium, and Carroll Stadium, working with internal and external partners in each of these venues; manage inventory, implement dynamic pricing strategies, and provide daily maintenance of events; works directly with promoters, agents, Ticketmaster, and other facilitators on ticketing related matters of events; develops relationships with group sales clients and organizations; tracks customer information and purchasing habits and analyzes sales and marketing reports to uncover trends; provide advice to partners as it relates to inventory management, dynamic pricing, promotions, and discount opportunities; manages ticketing hardware, including ticket printers, EMVs, scanners, and any rented equipment for special events; develops and implements strategies to ensure customer data is up-to-date and clean; stays current in the industry and embraces new and emerging technologies and strategies. Event Operations and Guest Experience Supervises, hires, trains, promotes, and disciplines front-line staff that help execute operations and day-of event support; collaborates with partners to support efforts to increase guest/donor satisfaction; assists with coordinating information between venue operators, venue managers, and clients. Financial/Risk Management Ensures fiscal controls and IT security in the ticket office and ticketing system; creates and provides oversight of the Ticketing budget; maintains PCI compliance, coordinates staff training, and manages terminal inspection logs.
