Shift: Mon-Fri (08:30 am-06:30 pm)

Position Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead operations within a specialized compounding pharmacy. The ideal candidate will oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure compliance with sterile and non-sterile compounding standards, maintain state and federal regulatory compliance, and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities: Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in accordance with applicable state pharmacy regulations. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations, policies, and laws. Develop, maintain, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for pharmacy processes, equipment, and testing protocols. Lead regulatory inspections, audits, and cleanroom certification processes. Oversee and actively participate in the preparation, labeling, dispensing, and quality assurance of customized sterile and non-sterile compounded formulations. Direct, train, and mentor pharmacy staff, including compounding technicians and support personnel. Manage inventory of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), supplies, and controlled substances while maintaining accurate records.

Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) from an ACPE-accredited institution.

Licensure: Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Texas and in good standing.

Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as a Pharmacist Incharge (compounding) is required.
