Litigation Attorney

The Opportunity: Rack Law Group is seeking a Personal Injury Trial Attorney with significant civil litigation experience to join our expanding team. This is an opportunity for a skilled and motivated litigator who is prepared to take ownership of complex personal injury cases, develop effective litigation strategies, and advocate aggressively for clients from the initial evaluation of a case through settlement or verdict. The ideal candidate will have strong courtroom experience, excellent legal judgment, and the ability to manage a caseload while maintaining attentive and compassionate communication with clients. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters from filing suit through settlement or trial• Evaluate potential claims, liability, damages, insurance coverage, and case value• Develop and execute comprehensive litigation and trial strategies• Draft complaints, pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents• Conduct and defend depositions involving parties, witnesses, medical providers, and expert witnesses• Review and analyze medical records, accident reports, expert opinions, and other evidence• Negotiate with insurance carriers, defense counsel, and opposing parties• Represent clients during hearings, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and trials• Prepare witnesses, exhibits, experts, and case materials for trial• Maintain proactive and compassionate communication with clients throughout the legal process• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, investigators, and medical experts• Ensure all cases are handled professionally, strategically, and in accordance with applicable deadlines and ethical requirements Qualifications• Active license to practice law in Arizona and good standing with the State Bar of Arizona• At least five years of civil litigation experience• Significant personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred• First-chair jury trial experience preferred• Strong understanding of liability, damages, insurance coverage, civil procedure, and evidentiary rules• Demonstrated experience drafting and arguing dispositive, evidentiary, and procedural motions• Extensive experience conducting and defending depositions• Proven ability to manage hearings, mediations, negotiations, and trials• Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex cases and deadlines• Sound judgment, professionalism, and a client-centered approach• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the legal team• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency is highly beneficial

Compensation and Benefits: Rack Law Group offers a highly competitive compensation package designed to recognize experience, performance, and results:$400,000 compensation package includes:• $250K base salary• Quarterly performance bonuses averaging approximately $150K per year • $10K in annual profit-sharing through the firm’s 401(k) program• Paid health insurance• Paid time off Why Join Rack Law Group?
