Quality Assurance and Sustainability Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES: Help lead and supervise the Quality team to ensure ISO 9001 compliance, inspection discipline, and consistent production quality standards. Maintain and execute ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements at the facility level. Oversee setup, incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities to ensure compliance with specifications, customer requirements, and ISO 9001 standards. Ensure strict control and documentation of nonconforming products. Lead structured root cause investigations and drive effective CAPA implementation. Monitor scrap, rework, and first-pass yield performance and initiate corrective actions when trends emerge. Maintain audit readiness and support internal and external audits. Partner cross-functionally with Production leadership to proactively prevent quality issues. Promote a 'Do It Right the First Time' culture across 1st shift operations. REQUIREMENTS3–5 years of experience in an ISO 9001 Quality Management role 3–5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience leading or supervising quality personnel Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements, including operational control, nonconforming product, and corrective action Experience performing or participating in internal audits Strong root cause analysis capability 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, etc Proven ability to work directly on the production floor in a fast-paced environmentPREFERRED REQUIREMENTSExperience in printing, packaging, or converting operations Bilingual (English/Spanish)Lean or continuous improvement experience Experience reducing scrap or cost of non-quality (CONQ)
