Job Description: Join our dynamic team at Pool & Spa Depot as a Pool & Spa Service Technician! This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll ensure pools and spas are operating safely and efficiently while delivering an excellent customer experience. This is a great opportunity for candidates with mechanical, maintenance, or installation backgrounds (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general construction, appliance repair, etc.) looking to grow in a specialized field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while performing pool and spa maintenance and repair
  • Conduct on-site inspections, assess water quality, and perform necessary maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, balancing chemicals, and troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Test installed equipment to ensure everything is in proper working order
  • Install new pool equipment and assist with pool openings and closings
  • Provide clear, friendly, and professional guidance to customers on equipment use and pool care
  • Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and manage inventory efficiently
  • Work safely while lifting and handling equipment, following proper safety protocols
  • Arrive at customer homes with a professional appearance and respectful demeanor, representing the company positively
  • Qualifications1–3 years of hands-on experience in a related field such as:
  • HVACPlumbingElectrical work
  • Equipment installation/repair
  • General maintenance or constructionOR willingness to learn with strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service mindset with clear communication skills
  • Professional appearance and ability to work in customer-facing environments
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and handle equipment safely and work outdoors
  • Open availability to work weekends and overtime as needed during peak season.(Not Required)
  • Pool & Spa industry experienceCPO Certification
  • Experience working with pumps, filtration systems, or water systems
