Precision Mechanics Design Engineer

The Position: Contribute to the development, realization, and commissioning of ultra-precision mechanical systems for the new phase of the XFELO project Perform computer-aided engineering tasks, including concept development, detailed mechanical design, structural and thermal assessment, and design optimization of mechanical components and assemblies Take responsibility for the production and procurement of mechanical components, as well as for the assembly, testing, and installation of the designed mechanical systems Participate in shift work in the control room during experimental testing and commissioning of XFELO mechanical systems with beam Analyze technical experimental data, document results, and contribute to publications, internal reports, and technical notes.
