To support serious student-athletes, the remote D1 Athlete Youth Mentor will engage in one-on-one video sessions, providing academic guidance and sports mentorship while leveraging their Division I athletic experience to foster student focus and development.
Key responsibilities:
Guide students through their academic day, ensuring they remain focused and on task during learning sessions
Mentor students on athletic mental strategies, training habits, and the balance between academics and sports
Communicate effectively with parents and staff, providing updates on student progress in academics and athletics
Required qualifications:
Division I athletic background in any sport
Experience working with young people in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or similar roles
Strong judgment and ability to build trust with young athletes
Proficient in clear communication during one-on-one video sessions
Reliable and organized with a suitable remote work setup
