About the Opportunity:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This opportunity offers hands-on litigation experience, meaningful client interaction, and the ability to work on sophisticated matters across a broad range of disputes. Responsibilities:
Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution with appropriate supervision based on experience level.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and case analyses.
Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
Attend and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court appearances.
Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and risk assessment.
Negotiate settlements and assist with dispute resolution efforts.
Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice groups in a team-oriented environment.
Assist with trial preparation, witness preparation, and case management activities.
Maintain accurate case files and meet litigation deadlines.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active Bar license in good standing.3+ years of litigation experience.
Experience drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, and other litigation-related documents.
Deposition and motion practice experience preferred.
Strong analytical, research, writing, and advocacy skills.
Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Ability to independently manage deadlines and multiple competing priorities.
Strong client-service mindset and relationship-building skills.
Trial experience is a plus but not required.
