ICU Registered Nurse

UCHealth is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to deliver advanced, patient-centered care to critically ill adults in a high-acuity setting. In this role, you will manage complex conditions, perform continuous assessments, and administer life-sustaining therapies using leading-edge technology. Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to ICU patients with complex, acute conditions Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient status, vital signs, and response to treatment Administer medications, infusions, and blood products safely and accurately Collaborate with intensivists, specialists, and interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans Operate and troubleshoot ICU equipment including ventilators, monitors, and infusion devices Support and educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and care plans Respond rapidly to emergencies, perform interventions, and participate in codes Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards Precept and mentor newer nurses, participating in ongoing education and skills training Contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice initiatives, and unit-based projects Critical care nursing Ventilator management Hemodynamic monitoring Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) IV medication and infusion management Arterial and central line management ECG interpretation Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation Infection prevention and control Patient and family education Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license in applicable state BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification PALS or CCRN preferred ICU/critical care specialty certification preferred
