Associate Attorney - Environmental and Water Law

Duties: Advise and represent clients in environmental and water law matters. Prepare discovery and pleadings for litigation or adversarial proceedings. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis. Draft client memorandums and law and motion documents. Manage written discovery with limited supervision. Interface with clients to convey professionalism and competence. Develop strategic plans and courses of action for legal matters.

Requirements: Minimum three years of experience in environmental and/or water law. Experience with public sector clients preferred. Knowledge of the Brown Act, Public Records Act, and Conflicts of Interest. Strong legal research and writing skills. Ability to manage cases independently. Excellent communication and follow-through skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications: Licensed to practice law in the state of California. Skills Legal research and analysis. Writing and drafting legal documents. Client communication and relationship management. Strategic planning and problem-solving.
