Senior Media Consultant

Salary: $125K–$145K We’re partnering with a fast-growing global marketing and media advisory consultancy looking to hire a Senior Consultant for its New York team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong consulting/advisory background who understands the media and marketing ecosystem and enjoys helping complex organizations solve strategic challenges.

The Role: As Senior Consultant, you’ll lead complex client engagements focused on helping major marketers optimize and transform their media, marketing, and operating models. You’ll combine strategic advisory with hands-on project leadership, turning data, market intelligence, and business challenges into clear, actionable recommendations. You’ll work closely with senior client stakeholders while leading project teams and supporting the continued growth of key client relationships.

Key responsibilities include: Own client engagements from initial scoping through final recommendations and reporting Lead project teams across multiple workstreams, projects, and markets Advise clients on media, marketing, agency ecosystems, operating models, and ways of working Analyze data and market trends to develop strategic insights and actionable recommendations Present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders Manage complex stakeholder relationships and maintain high standards of client service Oversee the commercial aspects of engagements Mentor and support junior team members

What We’re Looking For: You’ll ideally bring 8+ years of relevant experience, with a strong foundation in consulting or strategic advisory. We’re particularly interested in people who have: Experience advising large or complex organizations on media and marketing challenges Strong knowledge of the broader media, agency, and marketing ecosystem Led projects from initial discovery and analysis through recommendations and delivery Excellent senior-level client and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Confidence presenting complex ideas and recommendations to senior audiences Experience leading teams while remaining closely involved in the work This could suit someone currently working within a media or marketing consultancy/advisory business who is looking for broader exposure, complex global clients, and continued career development.
