Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse

Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients’ recovery goals. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for rehab patients Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and responses to treatment Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and self-care Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary rehab team Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation in the EHR Ensure compliance with safety, infection-control, and quality standards Support discharge planning and continuity of care Participate in ongoing professional development and training Patient assessment Care planning and care coordination Medication administration and IV therapy Wound care and post-surgical management Rehabilitation nursing techniques Vital signs and patient monitoring Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation Infection control and safety protocols Patient and family education Interdisciplinary team collaboration Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license (state-specific) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred Rehabilitation nursing certification (CRRN) preferred
