Duties:
Review and draft security policies.
Provide data breach prevention and risk-mitigation counseling.
Conduct data breach investigation and response counseling.
Advise on international, federal, and state privacy laws.
Implement privacy and security compliance programs.
Negotiate IT, licensing, and outsourcing contracts.
Advise on data governance strategies.
Address privacy and cybersecurity in M&A transactions.
Draft terms of service and privacy policies.
Requirements:
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
At least 5 years of experience in privacy and cybersecurity.
Privacy professional certification preferred.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
