Fabrication Technician

Responsibilities: Final surface preparation of germanium crystals. Final surface preparation of silicon elements. Operate ion implanter and vacuum deposition equipment. Perform equipment maintenance. Test finished crystals. Troubleshoot process problems. Train junior technicians for processing when necessary. Work Environment: Manufacturing facility with shop floors. The environment includes handling of acids and other chemicals, and working with evaporators, sputtering machines, ion implanters, and vacuum deposition equipment. There are opportunities for progression to a Level II Technician within 1-2 years based on performance, and potential for further advancement to a lead role focusing on troubleshooting.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
