Stress Engineer / Stress AnalystWork Location & Reporting Address: Wichita, KS (Onsite)Contract Duration: 6 MonthsVisa Requirement: Visa-independent candidates onlyMandatory Skill Set:Should work on Artech W2 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Aerospace industry as a Stress Engineer/Analyst.Comprehensive knowledge of stress analysis for aero structures, Nacelle, and EBU systems.Hands-on experience with metallic and composite structures stress analysis.Working knowledge of Spirit/Boeing tools including FEADMS, IAS, ISSW, and SASAFEM.Experience in preparing and reviewing SCNs, SRMs, and other technical reports for aerospace structural components.Job Responsibilities:Perform Static, Fatigue, and Damage Tolerance analysis for aerospace structural components.Gather stress analysis requirements from the client and communicate them effectively to the offshore team.Coordinate between the client and offshore teams; review stress analysis work and deliver validated outputs to the client.Participate in technical review meetings with clients, customers, and suppliers.Interact with customers to prepare Scope of Work (SOW) and define execution methodologies to ensure project requirements are met.Use classical hand calculation methods to analyze both primary and secondary structures.Apply Finite Element Methods (FEM) for load extraction and to solve complex engineering problems.Preferred Attributes:Strong communication and coordination skills.Ability to work independently in an onsite environment.Experience working directly with aerospace OEMs and suppliers.
