Machine Operator

Duties and Responsibilities: Installs proper oils and coolants. Adjusts machines accordingly for quality and quantity. Removes swarfs and old coolants from machine and properly disposes of them. Changes machine oils, coolant and filters. Cleans machine and coolant tanks when necessary. Maintains tooling to perform at maximum efficiency. Maintains proper quality and quantities of manufactured materials. Operate multiple slicing machines at a time. Review Operation Sheet to assure all previous operations have been satisfactorily completed. Setup and operate the equipment in a safe and productive manner. Maintain part and identification during processing. Verify completed operations match blue prints Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GEDAble to read blueprintsGD&T Training & Understanding Able to use and understand standard and metric measuring systems. Use of standard measuring tools. Able to work individually and in a team environment. Statistical Process Control (SPC) Experience beneficial.

Working Conditions: May be exposed to industrial oils, toner, coolants, solvents, lubricants, adhesive and other chemicals.

NOTE: All safety precautions will be used. Plant wide climate control and air conditioning Could work in areas with excessive noise.

NOTE: Ear protection available.

Physical Requirements: Could require intermittent and long periods of sitting and/or standing. Required to do repetitive work. Periodic lifting of materials not to exceed 50 pounds.
