Senior Director Health And Benefits Consulting Client-facing health benefits consultant. Closer to client-facing consulting than an internal actuarial specialist because revenue growth and relationship ownership are explicit parts of the role. Senior Director role in WTW's Health and Benefits consulting team in Chicago, focused on employer health and welfare financial/actuarial strategy. You'll lead complex client engagements, advise on plan design and funding, support underwriting, grow relationships and revenue, and guide delivery teams. The role is hybrid and pays $140,000-$230,000 plus an annual incentive bonus.
Requirements
Must have:
  • State Life and Health license obtained within 90 days of joining
  • Strongly preferred:10+ years of experience in health and welfare financial/actuarial strategies and analysis
  • Experience in a consulting or brokerage environment
  • Deep expert knowledge in employee benefit plan design, underwriting and funding concepts
  • Proven ability to generate revenue
  • Track record of managing and growing client relationships
  • Proven ability to lead data analytic projects
  • Experience across one or multiple client segments
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPointExecutive presence with polished written and oral communication skills
  • Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management
  • Interest in keeping abreast of health and welfare plan strategy developments
  • Ability to leverage judgement and past experience to predict which methods will work
