CT Technologist

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers (STRIC) seeks a dedicated and skilled CT (Computed Tomography) Tech to join our team. The CT Tech will be responsible for conducting diagnostic scans, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients, and maintaining adherence to operational standards and protocols. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with exceptional patient care and technical skills in the use of CT imaging technology. Join us and contribute to healthcare excellence with your expertise in CT technology. Operate CT imaging equipment to produce images of a patient’s internal structure for diagnostic purposes. Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during scans, explaining procedures and positioning patients properly. Adjust scanning equipment and modify parameters to improve image quality. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to evaluate images and determine the necessity for additional scans. Maintain records of all scans and results in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements. Implement and adhere to health and safety standards to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and software. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as it relates to imaging. Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction. Ability to work independently as well as part of a medical team. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
