History Department Chair - Leadership & Impact

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for the position of Chair of the History Department. This twelve-month appointment is anticipated to begin July 1, 2027. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The Chair will lead daily department operations, promote excellence in teaching, research, service, and community engagement; mentor faculty; coordinate curriculum; and advocate for the department at College and University levels.
