Transforming raw customer data into structured datasets, the full-time Mechanical Engineering Data Engineer will create data pipelines, labeling workflows, and reference models while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities: Ingest, clean, and structure engineering data for AI training and evaluation, while designing high-quality mechanical components in CAD Collaborate with Product Managers to enhance tooling for data processes and provide feedback on workflow efficiency Partner with engineering and research teams to understand model requirements and influence model behavior with representative examples
Required Qualifications: Strong domain expertise in mechanical engineering, manufacturing design, or industrial workflows Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, or Creo Familiarity with annotation tools and illustration software (e.g., Creo Illustrate, Adobe Illustrator) Ability to interpret complex mechanical assemblies, technical drawings, and engineering documentation Experience creating artifacts like exploded views, work-step sequences, or manufacturing instructions
