Project Manager (PMP Certified) Lume Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager (PMP Certified) to support a California State government initiative focused on Investigation Management System Improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong Agile leadership experience, California State IT project experience, and the ability to manage technical teams delivering enterprise application enhancements.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage IT application enhancement projects
  • Coordinate cross-functional technical teams and stakeholders
  • Manage schedules, deliverables, risks, budgets, and project execution
  • Facilitate project meetings and executive status reporting
  • Oversee Agile delivery and project planning activities
  • Monitor team progress and ensure client satisfaction
  • Support technical issue resolution and project governance
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams
  • Coordinate knowledge transfer and training activities
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Active PMP Certification from PMIMinimum 3 years of recent experience managing medium-to-large IT projects
  • Experience managing: IT development projects, application enhancements, Agile teams, technical staff
  • Minimum 1 year of California State government IT project experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Agile project management experience
  • Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 projects
  • Public sector consulting experience
  • Experience supporting enterprise application modernization initiatives
  • LocationRemoteContract 24 Months + Possible Extension
