Details Inpatient rehab therapy unit within a hospital setting 44-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio Staffed by 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech Equipment includes Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego Documentation completed in Meditech Expanse Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts between 7am-5pm, with rotating weekends May float to acute hospital units if rehab census is low Unit holds Joint Commission Stroke Certification Requirements Active Occupational Therapist license required, if applicable Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required Hospital and inpatient rehab experience preferred Experience with stroke evaluation and treatment required Skilled in manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, neuromuscular re-education, self-care training, and functional e-stim US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months Additional Information Use AIDET communication framework and provide immediate service recovery with patients Required dress code of black scrub bottoms with a royal blue top 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered First-time travelers may be considered American Traveler Job ID P-768813.
