Aircraft Mechanic

Responsibilities: Utilize intermediate knowledge to perform routine maintenance work on specialized aircraft components. Develop repair schemes and communicate effectively with maintenance personnel. Read and interpret manufacturer manuals and specifications to determine repair methods. Conduct operational tests and maintain a clean work area. Perform specific tasks based on assigned area such as flight control, systems, sheet metal/structures, or airframe cabin interiors. Adhere to safety guidelines and report any incidents promptly.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Airframe and/or Power plant License preferred. Completion of an apprenticeship program in a related field or two years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience. Ability to communicate effectively and work with minimal supervision. Proficiency in relevant specialty of aircraft maintenance. Must meet all regulatory requirements per FAR 65.
