Responsibilities: Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients per the speech pathology treatment plan; modify therapy programs and goals as needed Complete thorough, concise clinical documentation in a timely manner and accurately enter charges Understand reimbursement processes related to the practice setting Communicate effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team; provide education to patients, families, and staff Supervise students and volunteers; clinical fellows and their mentors follow ASHA supervision guidelines Advance clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and evidence-based practice; share knowledge with colleagues Adhere to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines Align individual goals and work activities with broader system goals
