Machine ShopsPrecision Turned Product ManufacturingAll Other Industrial Machinery ManufacturingManual Machinist We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will produce and reproduce high-quality components from technical drawings, samples, and damaged parts, ensuring each piece meets exacting OEM and custom specifications. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse materials and complex geometries while maintaining the precision standards that define our reputation.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Fabricate and reproduce precision parts using manual mill and lathe equipment based on customer specifications, technical drawings, and samples
Perform essential machinist operations on a regular basis, including:
- Thread cutting and boring
- Turning and facing operations
- Precision work with 3 and 4-jaw chucks on both round and irregular shapes
- Interpret and apply precise tolerances and perform metric-to-standard dimension conversions with accuracy
- Utilize hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and specialized shop equipment to achieve quality standards
- Manage workflow effectively to meet delivery timelines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Perform equipment maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure optimal shop functionality
- Maintain an organized and safe workstation that supports both productivity and quality
Requirements
Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as a manual machinist with proficiency on mills and lathes
- Strong understanding of mechanical tolerances, blueprints, and precision measurement
- Commitment to quality craftsmanship with minimal tolerance for error
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3-5 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
