As aManager, Manufacturing/Equipment Engineeringsupporting Engineering Manufacturing, you will be trusted to work on designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of goods at Johns Creek, GA, USA. Typical Day Manage a small team of Equipment Engineers Learn and specialize in manufacturing equipment Specify requirements and procedures for new and existing equipment Purchase and own the installation and qualification of new equipment and retrofits Adapt manufacturing equipment in response to factory conditions Conduct tests through all stages of production to improve control over applicable variables and troubleshoot/solve production problems Develop and perform change control and qualification activities Provide guidance to Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Training on technical details that will best use equipment and manufacturing techniques Ensure that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations What You'll Bring to Alcon Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs.; Associate +9 yrs.; M.S. +2 yrs.; PhD +1 yr.) The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English 5 Years of Relevant Experience 3 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
