Job Title: Product Manager (Local Candidate only)

Pay rate: $52 - $54/hr. on w 2
Job Description: Top three required skills: Digital product lifecycle management, including strategy, roadmap, backlog, delivery, deployment, and optimization. Stakeholder and vendor engagement across engineering, IT, regulatory, business, and external partners. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Soft-skill requirements: Clear written and verbal communication; cross-functional leadership; collaboration across multidisciplinary teams; comfort with ambiguity and competing priorities; resilience in managing expectations; analytical judgment; and the ability to build rapport at all organizational levels. Nice-to-have skills: Familiarity with electric utility operations and regulatory environments, including grid management, transmission planning, asset management, cybersecurity, data governance, and IT/OT integration. Agile or Lean experience, vendor management, and financial acumen are also beneficial. Preferred years of experience: Five or more years of related product management or comparable experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience. Preferred disciplines: Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Liberal Arts. Other disciplines may also be considered. Preferred industry experience: Electric utility operations, regulated environments, bespoke digital product development, or experience connecting technical teams with business and vendor stakeholders. High-level project overview: This Product Manager role is part of the Operations Technology Solutions team within Electric Transmission. The contractor will manage one or more bespoke digital products developed in-house and by third-party partners, guiding products from ideation through development, testing, deployment, support, measurement, and continuous improvement. The role will define product vision and roadmaps, prioritize needs, manage backlogs, champion users, coordinate internal teams and vendors, track product performance and value, and support regulatory, cybersecurity, and data-governance requirements. The successful candidate will also help strengthen product management culture, practices, and methods within the organization. Preferred interview process: Panel interview.
