Role Description: The Senior Finance Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. This role manages month-end and year-end close processes, prepares financial statements, and ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Senior Finance Manager will analyze financial performance, monitor key metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth. Day-to-day tasks include managing cash flow, reviewing variance analyses, optimizing costs, supporting pricing decisions, and partnering with leadership on long-term financial strategies. The role also involves mentoring finance team members, improving financial processes and systems, and collaborating cross-functionally with operations, sales, and technology teams to maintain strong financial controls and transparent reporting.
Qualifications: Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis. Expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Proficiency with financial systems and tools, such as ERP platforms, accounting software, and advanced Excel or similar analytical applications. Experience in leading or supervising finance teams, with skills in mentoring, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. Ability to develop and improve processes, implement internal controls, and support strategic initiatives with clear financial insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or CFA) is preferred. Experience in a software, technology, or services environment and working effectively in a remote setting is highly beneficial.
