Elevate Community Health: Join Arrowhead Family Dental as a Registered Dental Hygienist Arrowhead Family Dental is seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our clinical team. We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about preventive care and committed to providing a high-quality patient experience. In this role, you will be a cornerstone of our hygiene department, delivering comprehensive cleanings, conducting periodontal assessments, and educating our patients on the path to optimal oral health. Requirements
Licensure: Valid and current State License to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Certifications: Current CPR and AED certifications are mandatory. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients. Professionalism: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to clinical ethics.
Job Description: Clinical Excellence: Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, including calculus removal, scaling, and root planing. Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive oral health screenings, including periodontal charting and oral cancer examinations. Diagnostics: Capture high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) for diagnostic review by the dentist. Health Education: Counsel patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutritional habits, and the importance of preventive maintenance. Safety & Sterilization: Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and clinical notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
