The Tasting Room Guest Service Support/Bar Back is responsible for providing back-of-house and floor support in the operations of the Tasting Room. This role involves restocking, cleaning, assisting with service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized and enjoys working in a hospitality setting
Essential Functions:
Assist Tasting Room staff by restocking wine, glassware, and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Tasting Room.
Assist with setting up and breaking down. Moving tables and chairs to accommodate reservations. Clear and reset tasting tables throughout the day.
Support Wine Educators by running food, polishing glasses, and providing water to guests in the Tasting Room.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service when needed, such as greeting guests and answering basic questions about PEJU.Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Prior experience in hospitality, restaurant, or winery settings preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
