CT Radiologic Technologist II

Methodist Hospital, a cornerstone of SA Health, seeks an experienced and diligent CT Tech II to join our imaging team. Located in the vibrant heart of San Antonio, we pride ourselves on delivering superior medical services and personalized patient care. This role demands precision and expertise in conducting computed tomography scans, supporting diagnostic accuracy for a wide variety of medical conditions. You will play an integral role in our dedicated team, using state-of-the-art technology to assist in patient diagnostics and care planning, ensuring optimal outcomes for all patients. Operate CT imaging equipment to produce quality images as per physician’s orders and protocols. Assist in the interpretation of computed tomography results with radiologists. Ensure patient safety and compliance with all healthcare regulations concerning radiation and CT procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines. Contribute to the maintenance and calibration of CT equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in health and safety drills. Proficiency in CT technology and diagnostic procedures In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and patient management abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in the state of Texas, or eligible for licensure CPR certification
