Sr. Claim Counsel

Requirements: Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school Licensed with the PA Bar Association Minimum of 2-3 years of workers compensation litigation experience representing insured and self-insured employers with a proven track record of providing quality and cost effective advocacy Good computer skills Microsoft Word and ability to use internal legal billing software/systems. Superior verbal and written communication skills, including ability to deliver client presentations and conduct training seminars Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented, exercise good judgment, and balance multiple competing priorities Ability to work effectively in either a self-directed or a collaborative environment Solid research, analytical and negotiation skills Extensive technical knowledge of PA workers compensation law and litigation process and ability to effectively apply such knowledge in a variety of claims and business situations Strong familiarity with, and ability to apply, litigation management techniques Ability to travel to various locations throughout the PA area
