Property Management Accountant

About Us: Faith Pro LLC is an established and growing property management company that has served Northern Colorado for over 40 years. We specialize in residential rental property management and homeowners association (HOA) management. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the company as a whole, including our rental division, HOA division, and internal company financials. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, experience in both rental and HOA accounting, and the ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations for Faith Pro LLC, including rental properties, HOA communities, and internal company financials. Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable. Reconcile bank accounts, operating accounts, reserve accounts, and trust accounts. Prepare and review monthly financial statements for property owners, HOA boards, and company management. Monitor rental income, owner distributions, vendor payments, and property expenses. Oversee HOA assessment accounting, delinquent balances, reserve fund accounting, and financial reporting. Maintain accurate company financial records, including income, expenses, and general ledger accounts. Ensure expenses are properly allocated between properties, associations, and company accounts. Assist with payroll accounting and year-end financial reporting. Identify and correct accounting discrepancies. Work closely with management and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Ensure compliance with applicable Colorado real estate trust accounting requirements and company accounting procedures.

Qualifications: Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management. Experience with residential rental accounting and HOA accounting is required. Experience with Vantaca and AppFolio is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of trust accounting, bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with management and team members. Knowledge of Colorado property management trust accounting requirements is preferred.

Location: Fort Collins, Colorado

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Work Location: In-office position. Remote work is not available.
