A well-established real estate organization is seeking an experienced Leasing Paralegal to support its commercial real estate leasing operations. This position will work closely with attorneys, leasing professionals, asset managers, and business stakeholders to manage lease transactions from inception through execution while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all leasing matters. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing, drafting, and coordinating commercial lease documentation and will thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and revise commercial leases, amendments, renewals, extensions, terminations, estoppel certificates, SNDAs, and related leasing documents. Coordinate lease negotiations between internal stakeholders, outside counsel, landlords, and tenants. Track lease transaction status and maintain leasing pipelines to ensure deadlines are met. Review lease provisions and summarize key business and legal terms. Maintain lease files, databases, and document management systems. Assist with due diligence review for acquisitions, dispositions, and property financing transactions. Monitor and track critical lease dates, including rent commencements, renewals, options, and expirations. Prepare and distribute lease abstracts and reports for management and operational teams. Coordinate execution of lease agreements and ensure proper record retention. Assist attorneys with corporate, real estate, and contract-related projects as needed. Conduct legal and factual research related to leasing and real estate matters. Support portfolio management initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications: Paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.3+ years of commercial real estate or leasing paralegal experience. Experience drafting and reviewing commercial lease documentation. Strong knowledge of lease terminology, transaction processes, and real estate documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management systems. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Skills &
