As we continue expanding our footprint across the entertainment and production transportation markets, we are seeking an experienced, results-driven Vice President of Sales (West Coast) to lead strategic revenue growth, client acquisition, and partnership development throughout the Western United States.
Position Summary: Develop and execute Hollywood Trucks' regional sales strategy while building and managing key client relationships across film, television, commercial production, studio operations, live events, and related industries. Lead business development initiatives, oversee major account growth, and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, fleet, marketing, and executive leadership to drive long-term company growth. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated sales executive with strong entertainment industry relationships, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of generating high-value B2B partnerships and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute regional sales and business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across film, television, streaming, commercial, music, sports, and live production markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with studios, production companies, transportation coordinators, production executives, fleet managers, and key decision-makers. Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and long-term service agreements. Manage and grow enterprise-level client accounts while ensuring exceptional customer experience and retention. Collaborate with Fleet Operations and Executive Leadership to ensure operational alignment with sales commitments and client expectations. Develop sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and revenue projections. Recruit, mentor, and manage regional sales personnel as the company expands. Represent Hollywood Trucks at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and client meetings. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies within entertainment transportation and sustainability sectors. Partner with marketing teams to strengthen brand awareness and lead-generation initiatives. Help position Hollywood Trucks as the premier sustainable production transportation provider on the West Coast.
Qualifications: 3+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within entertainment, transportation, logistics, production services, fleet management, or related industries. Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving strategic business growth. Strong network and relationships within the entertainment production industry highly preferred. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Experience managing high-level enterprise accounts and long sales cycles. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and scale regional sales operations. Strong analytical, forecasting, and CRM management skills. Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. Ability to travel throughout California and the Western United States as needed. Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Experience: Entertainment production transportation or specialty fleet experience. Sustainability, EV fleet, or clean transportation technology background. Existing relationships with major studios, streamers, production executives, or transportation coordinators. Experience working with rapidly growing technology-driven companies. Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission and bonus opportunities. Expected salary range: Negotiable depending on experience, qualifications, and business development track record.
