Receptionist (PRN 8a-8p)

Pay Rate: $15.92/hour

Job Description: We are seeking a personable and professional Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our facility and is responsible for ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors, residents, and staff. The ideal candidate will manage incoming calls, provide information, and direct visitors as needed.

Responsibilities: Answer and direct calls, take messages, and provide facility information to callers. Greet and assist visitors, directing them to the appropriate office or resident room. Monitor visitor sign-in process and access to the facility, ensuring security protocols. Operate the facility's paging and phone system to locate personnel and manage communication. Provide communication assistance for residents without personal phones. Offer hospitality to visitors waiting for administrative personnel. Maintain updated records of residents, key personnel, and emergency contacts. Follow HIPAA guidelines and ensure resident confidentiality. Monitor presence of sales representatives in the facility.

Requirements: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Ability to make independent decisions when needed. Knowledge of computer systems and office equipment. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation. Nursing home experience is preferred.
